Frequently Asked Questions
What is life coaching?
A Life coach is someone who helps you identify your goals and develop an actionable plan to achieve them. In other words, someone to help you move forward in life in the best way possible.
Can I book an appt even if I have never been diagnosed by a doctor for ADHD?
While I will encourage you to meet with your family doctor for a formal diagnosis, it is not required. We can discuss your reasons for thinking you may be struggling with ADHD and work from there.
Is Life Coaching covered by insurance?
At this time, it is not covered by insurance. This does give you a high level of privacy since all your information is not turned over to an insurance company.
What if I want to use you as a Lifecoach but don't have ADHD?
While ADHD is my specialty, I am willing to work with anyone who is looking to make a change in their life.
Does my child need to attend with me?
No, the sessions are best done with just you as a parent. If you would like to bring your child to a session, you can discuss this with your lifecoach.
How often do I need to have a session?
That all depends on your needs, availability, and time. Individuals routinely meet weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
What happens in the free session?
Think of the free session like a meet and greet. We will discuss what you can expect from a life coach, your needs, and if it is a good fit for you.
How long is an intake session?
An intake session takes about an hour, where I will get a detailed history, discuss your goals, and develop a plan.
